Such a sad shock HJ - my thoughts are still quite jumbled…..shared passions for music, old cars, gardens, animals, etc to say nothing of photography, IT and culinary expeditions!…..fragments of memories floating around, from Wild Cherry and then to West Farndon….you, Robbie and I saw each other through our tough times and relished our triumphs together too. We had some laughs as well - fondly remembered for cooking the Christmas turkey upside down! Mr Robbie will be very surprised to see you as, like him, your demise is untimely. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family HJ - may you Rest In Peace

I met Paul in year 2014 at 365Project, a site for photographers. When we first started talking outside the site, Paul was very excited to have a friend in Finland. That he had, he had a friend in me. 9 years we stayed in contact. I never met Paul in person.
Paul once bought me flowers that were send to my home in Finland. When I found out his passing I had a urge to go buy flowers, I found a bouguet of special kind of flowers I have never seen at the shop, and I haven-t seen since. When I got home I realised that those were excatly the same kind of flowers he sent me 9 years ago! I thought that was extraordonary coincidence and thought I must send Paul a message and tell him about it. Then I remembered I can't. I still find it hard to understand and even remember that we are not going to talk anymore. I miss his positive attitude and a great humour. I always enjoyed his beautiful pics he send me and he was happy when I shared pics and facts about Finland. I am sad I can' t be there to say goodbye to my english friend. Rest in peace Paul, you are missed❤️

I have known Paul since 1998 when we became neighbours, after we both moved away after divorces we remained friends. We had a shared interest in cars, and he always had some sort of interesting car, from his MG Arkley to his various MX5's and other sporty cars. I always liked his photography & photos, and he took Photos for myself and my wife at our wedding last year. He also built me several computers over the years and repaired them, it was always interesting visiting his house, to see the latest gadget he had bought or the latest alteration to his house or garden.
I have lost a dear friend, rest and be at peace.
